The Untamed One
So! Every one of us
Has a mild side,
And every one of us
Has a wild side.
Inside each of us
There lives a devil.
But the beast that lives within
Doesn't know that it is evil.
It doesn't know right from wrong
Or wrong from right.
It only knows
Its appetite.
During the day
It hides from the light.
It comes out
To PROWL at night.
Be still. Be still! Close your eyes.
You can feel it stirring.
If you but listen-- if you but listen--
You can hear it HOWLING.
