Can the following sentences be used interchangeably?

1) There is no peace in the house because of John's animals and birds.
2) We have no peace in the house because of John's animals and birds.

(Suppose John keeps a lot of pets at home.)

If context has established that the house in question is the speaker's, they're interchangeable. If not, then only the second clearly applies to that specific house.
