I wonder if there is any difference between "1" and "2".
If not, which is more used?
1. Look out, there is a car coming.
2. Look out, a car is coming.

One of the differences between the States, and elsewhere, is in the use of contractions. So, we would say, particularly as both these sentences would be blurted out in urgency:
1. Look out, there's a car coming.
2. Look out, a car's coming.

You will hear Americans saying, "I have been to the zoo", whereas we would say, "I've been to the zoo."
