there's with 'the' article

Why is "the" article used there? This was taken from the song of Arctic Monkeys - A certain romance, so I might guess that the vocalist sings that to get into rhythm. Or did he want to emphasize something by saying it?

The definite article is used because those lyrics talk about a specific truth-- the one they can't see.
