1) Please arrange the chopsticks/pencils with the same end in the same direction before putting them into the box.
2) Please set up the chopsticks on the table. Each dinner will have a set of chopsticks and you must make sure the chopsticks are facing the same direction.
3) The pencils are in a mess. They are not arrange properly with the same end and in same direction.


I don't think I have constructed the above sentences correctly. I was not able to come up with a better way of saying it. Hope somebody will give me a better suggestion on how to phrase the above sentences. Thanks

The pencils/chopsticks must all be pointing the same way [when you put them] in the box.
