Does "They're already talking about hi being a lame duck president with no political coattails left" mean "They're already talking about Trump being a lame duck president with no political dignity left"?

----------------
(I read it from a particularly long thread) One post said:

No one else thinks the so-called debacle, where 90% of the country, including 2/3 of NRA members agreed with Obama's position, had any effect on 2016, when in fact Hillary Clinton received 2.8 million more votes than Trump did, a decisive rejection of his agenda, as borne out subsequently I his approval ratings, already dipping regularly into the high 30% range. They're already talking about hi being a lame duck president with no political coattails left.

That they did. The entire forum post is full of vitriol from both sides of the political aisle. Everyone's so busy bashing the other political party that few of the posts are grammatical. Most, if not all, contain similar silly spelling errors.

A few shining examples:

"you'll lose bigly"
"In 1986 I applied for a Q clearance foor a nuke project

Regarding the OP's original question:

Not exactly. Political coattails refers to the effect of a popular political party leader attracting votes for other members of the same party. So the sentence is saying that he won't help attract votes for others of his party in upcoming elections.

That one is not a typo. It's a popular way to mock the president for his habit of using an adverbial phrase many people hear as "bigly". He really says big league, but people unaccustomed to his Queens accent and eager to find fault don't hear the final g sound.

Got it.

So "hi" in the post refers to Trump.

Yes. Someone missed the m key. They failed, big-league. (That adverbial sounds stupid to me all on its own.)

Angry posters tend to make more typos than calmer ones. We have plenty of typos here without the vitriol.
