Please help me. I have many friends who absolutely insist on putting "at" at the end of a sentence. Usually it comes in out in a question, such as "Where are you at?" I always correct them, usually with the argument that it is incorrect to use a preposition at the end of a sentence. However, upon being challenged on this recently, I discovered that using a preposition at the end of a sentence does not actually violate a rule of grammar. I still know that putting "at" at the end is incorrect, but I cannot seem to come up with a properly worded reason to convince them of it. They could care less. (Yes, that's the OTHER incorrect thing they always say that drives me up the wall.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
