Which of the following are correct?
I don't know when we should use 'sometimes', when 'some of the time(s)' and when 'sometime'?
Could you please introduce some reliable source to study more about them?

This light works sometimes, but not always.

Sentences 1 and 4 are correct.

I know you're studying variations with "some" and "time", but I can't help pointing out that the single word intermittently can replace the last seven words of sentence 1.
