"I'm used to waking up" can be easily understood. But I don't feel comfortable with a sentence like "I'm used to having fun with my children", because I don't think it implies any effort or difficulty, or necessity to deal with something that, in the beginning, was strange. I'd rather simply say : "I always have fun with my children". Am I mistaken? Thanks, in advance.

"I'm used to having fun with my children" simply means that the person does that on a regular basis. Nothing more.
