To-Do List

I'll wash the clothes, then I'll wash the dishes.
I'll take out the trash, then I'll make some wishes.

I'll go to the store and get some milk and bread,
Or it just may be that I'll do something else instead.

I'll brush my teeth, then I'll go to bed.
I'll find some rest for my weary head.

I've a few like that. They are all titled "To-Do List", with those coming after the first one numbered 2, 3 & 4.

I have never written any rhymes, even in my language. I started here and I try to grasp tips through reading a lot of your pieces. Do you think it works?

You can offer some basic know-hows to help ESL learners. For example, how many counts in each line, how many ways to make a rhyme and so on.

To-Do-List for this weekend


I'll rise up at six thirty,
then I'll drink juice to get off thirsty.

I'll drive down to the south,
then passengers will foam at the mouth.

I'll give them a mouth-to-mouth,
then I'll keep driving south.

I'll spend one night at a villa,
then I'll try not cook some koala. 8)

I'll lie beneath the sky,
then I'll try to fly high.

I'll dream a little dream,
where I'll become a whipping cream.
