hi,

i came inside a store the other day and saw an advertisement saying what would be, in English, equivalent to "give your resume to one of our attendants".
i already know that "to hand out" should preferably be used when the target is more that one person but, in this case, is "to give" really more appropriate that "to hand"?

thanks.

I would say it depends on the level of formality. "Hand your resume ..." is a little more formal than "Give your resume ..." However, both are possible. :)
