An attitude towards death
An attitude to death

I'm always confused about "to" and " towards", what's the difference between these two phrases?

I can think of a sentence in which the first phrase would fit. I can't think of one for the second.

As always, we need at least a complete sentence.

For example, I want to know your attitude towards death.
I want to know your atitude to death.

For example, I want to know your attitude towards death.:tick:
I want to know your attitude to death.:cross:
The first is correct. The second isn't.

There's no grammatical problem with 'attitude to'.
It would be a matter of preference and collocation.

That GS's comment might have been because of the typo 'atitude'.

I guess I should have made it clear that I was correcting the typo and also marking the sentence it was in as wrong. Only towards death works for me in that sentence.

I agree with GS. "To" doesn't work for me either.
