[Vocabulary] To versus Until

I was just working on an ad. What is proper on a newpaper ad. The line that would read: 65 Days Until The Regatta or 65 Days To The Regatta. I thought the word "To" would be incorrect to use, but want to be sure. Thanks.

I like "until" better also, but what about something a bit more catchy, like

Regatta Countdown: Only 65 more days!
