I would keep these three lines together. it's informal and conversational to start with "Because" but may be okay in this context. People talk this way, but usully don't write this way in formal English. I was so sad because I missed my English class.[/FONT]

Just a couple of extra points.


[FONT=바탕]"But it was very fun." [/FONT]

Change this to "it was fun" or "it was very much fun"

Like Barb said, you need to use "was" not "is" but you also need to use the article "a".
"It was a very nice day"
