Tolerance of/towards difference in views should be encouraged.

Can both ‘to’ and ‘towards’ be used? Both sounds fine to me.
Or is there a context where one if preferred over the other?

In the above, I can accept both. However, in some contexts, only one of them works.

That part needs to be machined to a tolerance of 0.01 mm. :tick:
That part needs to be machined to a tolerance towards 0.01 mm.
