Ali plays football. Jhon too.

Which is gramatically correct??

Ali plays football and so does Jhon.

Ali plays football. so Jhon.

Which is gramatically correct??

Is it important to use a conjunction (and) here?

Thanks...................

Commentary.

Ali plays football and Jhon does too.

Ali plays football. Jhon too.

Which is gramatically correct??

Both are okay, but the second is informal usage. (I wouldn't recommend using the second one.)

Ali plays football and so does Jhon.

Ali plays football. so Jhon.

Which is gramatically correct??

Only the first is correct.

Is it important to use a conjunction (and) here?

Normally, yes. Of course, that wouldn't be necessary if you were going to use two sentences. Example: "Ali plays football. John plays football too."
