I think you answered your own question in the title. I wouldn't necessarily differentiate between the old-style push-button cashpoints and the new touchscreen ones, but if I had to I think I would call them "touchscreen cashpoints"!

Well, a touchscreen can also be called "touch sensitive". I wouldn't understand what someone meant if they referred to a "light screen cashpoint". I would think they meant "light, not dark".

Yes, Barb! In the UK, we call them cashpoints or cashpoint machines. I'd never heard ATM until I went to America and the rest of continental Europe! We like to be different, you know!

I'd never heard the term until I had to translate a document that used it, but it is the term used in the industry, I believe.
