Hello and thank you for your help,

As a non English mother tongue I would like to know how it is called someone who works with children and teenagers helping them with homework and general scholastic study. In fact I want to write a sentence on my resumé to explain that and also add that one of the students have learning disorders. What's the best way to explains that?

thank you!

That activity is called "tutoring". The person doing it is a "tutor". You could write, for example, that you have "tutored children ages six to sixteen, including one with a learning disability (dyslexia), in English, mathematics, and Spanish history."
