trying to reconstruct sentence

I am trying to reconstruct a sentence to use in an invitation. The sentence reads as follows:

"I am confident this will be a useful educational experience that will provide information relevant to your day-to-day clinical practice and hope that you will be able to join us for this exciting symposium".

I would put in a comma before "and I hope", but otherwise it looks fine to me.
