It was advertised in two days ago's edition of your newspaper.

That's very unnatural.

It was advertised in your newspaper the day before yesterday.
It was advertised in your newspaper two days ago.

I wouldn't use "edition of your newspaper" for anything other than "today's", "tomorrow's" or "yesterday's".
