Discover means to find sth, to learn sth or to know or find that sth exists (e.g a place)
Uncover means to find out about sth has been kept as a secret, or to trmove the cover of sth.

Additionally, if something is uncovered, it was previously hidden; e.g., Police uncovered a massive credit card fraud involving at least 10 people. If something is discovered, it was previously unknown; e.g., Charles Francois du Fay discovered that electricity comes in two forms.

All the best. :-D
