i like listening to________(radio,the radio).

Please tell me which one is right, xplain the concept here

'to the radio'.
You can say 'to radio' but it is incomplete and sounds it.
'the' as the definite article is used with a noun in most circumstances, but there are times when we leave it out. There is no hard and fast rule, it is all a manner of speech.
In using 'the radio' (instead of that/this radio) we can be referring to a particular radio set or just radio in general.
