Dear teachers,
Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am right with my interpretation of the expression in bold in the following sentence from O.Henry’s ”The Sleuths”?
This is not a very difficult case to unravel.
unravel = to disentangle;
About a year later, her life started to unravel.
The relationship was beginning to unravel, and I didn't want to have a child.
unravel = fail, break up
Thank you for your efforts.
Regards,
V.
