up close ???

Can I make a sentences as follows:

I was seeing her up close for the first time.

and Which is better to say?

1- I was seeing her that close for the first time

2- I was seeing her so close for the first time

3- I was seeing her that closely for the first time

4- I was seeing her from so close a distance for the first time.

I was seeing her up close (~ in great detail; at close range) for the first time. No. 1. & 2. are possible.
