[General] upside down

My son stands upside down on the bed and then keeps rolling to other side of the bed by repeating this action. I want to tell him to stop doing this play. Is there any single word for this action he does on the bed?

I don't understand "my son stands upside down" really means. Is he standing on his head? I can not imagine rolling on a bed while standing upside down on it.

Yes. He stands on his head with his legs up .When the legs come down , he will start rolling to the other end of the bed like a ball.
