Is the following sentence correct: I haven't been able to access Facebook for the last few days. I'm able to get on just fine now, though.




Note that I am able to access Facebook now.

I think the sentence would be correct if you omit "just fine". "To get on just fine now" has a different meaning from "to get on(FB) now".

So is it right to use 'have been' with this kind of cotext?

The present perfect is possible there if the problem ended a very short time ago.

Thank you Piscean. If I want to use past tense, how should I write it? Can please give an example? :)
