Hi teachers, are these sentences correct?

1- I don't have a good friend other than you.

2- I don't have an option other than to go/going there.

They're OK, but I'd write them as below - more natural.

1. "I don't have
any good friends other than you."
2. "I don't have any option other than to go/going there." (Either of your variants will do.)

'I don't have a good friend except/but you'

Yes, but it's not natural. That's why I suggested something different.

How about 'options'?
No. That's not natural. And if you don't have any other option, then it follows that you don't have any other options.

More naturally, I'd say "You're my only good friend".
