Hi

I would like to know the proper words to complete this sentence . * we would rather you ................now. Its too late to go to the airport .

The second sentence is almost negative so there is no point for leaving and I choose : didnt leave , but my teacher insists in using the word : left

Iwould like to know your opinion about it .

Thank you in advance

'didn't leave' is the only logical answer.

Hi.

I would like to know the proper words to complete this sentence: [STRIKE]. *[/STRIKE]

We would rather you ................now. It's too late to go to the airport.

The second sentence is almost negative so there is no point for leaving and I choose "didn't leave", but my teacher insists [STRIKE]in[/STRIKE] on using the word "left".

I would like to know your opinion about it .

Thank you in advance.

Note my corrections above. It's important to follow these rules of written English:

- Start every sentence with a capital letter.
- End every sentence with one, appropriate punctuation mark.
- Don't put a space before a comma, full stop, question mark or exclamation mark.
- Always put a space after a comma, full stop, question mark or exclamation mark.
- Ensure you use apostrophes appropriately.
