When a noun already ends with s and if we have to show posseion eg Elvis so do we still add 's at the end while speaking
Also when it is an animal or plant can we add 's at the end in some cases as they are living being ist only for inanimate we don't add "s,right.
1) I am listening to Offspring's track lately
2) I had gone to my sister's Intended's home
3) Please make spinach's vegetable

1) I am listening to Offspring's track lately

I have been listening to Offspring's track/song lately.
I have been listening to Offspring's latest track a lot.
I have been listening to an Offspring track lately.

2) I had gone to my sister's Intended's home

I had gone/I went to my sister's intended's house/home. (No capitalisation on "intended")

3) Please make spinach's vegetable

I don't understand what you mean here. How do you make a vegetable of spinach? Spinach is already a vegetable.

See above. Note - we can use "'s" with inanimate objects, it's just not very common. For example "Please make sure you remove all the carrot's peel." However, this would more commonly be said "Please make sure you peel the carrot thoroughly" or something similar.

***** NOT A TEACHER *****

Hello, Connectbrain.

(1) I am going to James' / James's home.

(a) Most Americans write James'

(b) The "correct" way is still James's

(2) Pronunciation:

(a) Some people pronounce James' or James's as:

I am going to James home.

(b) Some people try to pronounce James' or James's correctly:

I am going to Jameses home.

(Same rule about Elvis'/ Elvis's; Elvis home/ Elvises home.

***** Thank you *****
