Does the use of the subjunctive differ in UK and US English?

In British English, we very rarely use the present subjunctive, apart from a few fossilised expressions like 'God save the Queen'. The past subjunctive is only seen in 'If I were you', and is used by many speakers, but probably the majority say 'was'. ;-)
