Is it correct to write "School Pride, It's Epidemic!" on a decorative banner?

Hi Orion,

Welcome to UE!

Yes, 'epidemic' is OK here, but the more usual collocation is 'contagious':

'School Pride-- It's Contagious!'

Although 'epidemic' means to spread rapidly, it carries a negative meaning. :( e.g., employment epidemic, AIDS epidemic.

From Greek epi-de:mos
epi means, 'against'
de:mos means, 'the people'
