Are these sentences correct grammatically?

There is no clear evidence of the presence of dead bodies (whose names could be identified) due to the large amount of mud.
There is no clear evidence of cars (whose owners could be called) due to large quantity of trees.

They are wrong semantically, at least with the parenthesis, which can't be used this way. (We don't put defining clauses in parentheses.)
You could say, "There is no clear evidence of the presence of dead bodies (at least, not of those whose names could be identified)", but this could be expressed better.
