I want to ask about u that used to structure can be used in present and future tenses also, or it only been used in past tense to describe the past habit which are not continuing. Please tell me that following sentences are right or wrong.
She is used to these conditions.
She will be used to these conditions.
There are two "used to" constructions:
1) "used to + bare infinitive", which has the "past state or action no longer continuing" sense:
She used to be thin.
I used to drink beer.
2) "be used to + noun/gerund", which is used to talk about being familiar with or accustomed to something:
I'm used to the heat (i.e., the heat doesn't bother me because I have acclimatized).
I'm used to getting up early (i.e., getting up early doesn't present any particular problem for me because I have done it long enough).
I suppose I will be used to these conditions in a few days.
