Hello. My friend's kid brought home a flyer from his school (age 6) that stated "The person that sells the most cookies will win an Sony Playstation". Shouldn't this be "a Sony playstation"? I know there are some funky rules on when to use A and when to use AN, but does anyone really know for sure? If you know the exception that makes this correct, please email me. Thank you.

It should be a Sony Playstation. There is no exception that makes an a correct usage there. Is the person who wrote that sentence a native English speaker?
