Can the noun 'conduction' be used in the following context?

This I hope should equip me not only with the skills required to guide and initiate changes in the conduction of clinical trials but wil enable me to interact with the multi-disciplinary network involved in clinical drug trials.

No, you can't use conduction that way, but I think you can use conduct there.

I did a Google search, which suggested that 'conduction' is not used that way in medical language. :)
