Today I finished swimming 700 meters and this could be impossible in the past months because once I swam at that time, I felt very tired.

After practicing for one month, I now can swim up to 700 meters without feeling tired. I said to myself "Very well done" today when I finished swimming to encourage myself.

Is it natural to say it?
