Dear teachers,
I don't know if I can ask you for such a favour, but would you please give me: (is "ask you for a favour" correct?)
1/ ten (or more) stces containing words or expressions in English that a learner of English would not necessarily know but that he might understand from the context and so find synonyms for them.
All this because I'd like to know if I would be able to understand such words or expressions and then translate them into my language.
2/ other ten (or ten other?) stces (or more) with adjective phrases to see if the position of the adjective would change if I translate these stces into French.
Example : He’s a strange fellow. = C'est un individu bizarre.
Gratefully yours, (I really don't know if I can say this)
