If you see any grammatical mistakes about the underlined parts, can I have your comments?

1. Researchers have used volunteers to show that driving a car while listening to sport on the radio can slow down reactiong times by as much as 20%

2. Volunteers were used by researchers to find that driving a car...

3. Research using volunteers has shown that driving a car.....

It's possible this could be understood to mean that the volunteers demonstrated/presented this fact - to an audience, for example.
2. Volunteers were used by researchers to find that driving a car...
It's possible that this could mean that the volunteers themselves did the research.
3. Research using volunteers has shown that driving a car.....
That's better, though. even here, the researcher could be the volunteers.

My three readings are not very likely, but they are possible.
