Hello,
Yesterday I had a talk with a new guy in our work. He was asking me where I was walking while I was in my home town?

I could not understand what he is talking about but finally he told me that he wants to know where I was working ...

I didnt know that you could use walk for experssing work.

I would like to thank you in advance
Best Regards
Alex

This is a common problem with pronunciation, especially for my Spanish students. They have great trouble getting the correct pronunciation so that the two words don't sound the same. They even have trouble differentiating between the two when I say them.

With one student, I get her to say "I walk to work" at least 10 times in every class - she's making progress but very slowly!!
