Watch the cars

Teachers,

When you ask someone to watch out for the coming cars as you pull out the drive way, what do you say?

Can you say something like:
Watch the cars.
Watch for the cars.
See if the cars are coming.

Appreciate your advice, thank you

'Watch for the cars' is probably the best option from the three you've provided. 'Look out for any cars' and 'check for any cars' are also good. I think the meaning is obvious in any of the phrases.
