[Grammar] We have to be sure that how the weather is like?

I am doubt about the correctness of the following sentences, and Is there any differences between them?

We have to be sure that how the weather is like.

We have to be sure that how like the weather is.


It depends on how well our geography is.

It depends how our geography is well.

None of them is correct. I don't know what either pair is supposed to mean.

My best guess for the first pair would be something like "We have to be certain what the weather will be like" and for the second pair "It depends on how good our geography is".

I don't know when we should put 'adverb' or 'adjective' after question words.
