Are they all correct and which one would you choose if you had the choice? I think I'd prefer number 1 which seems correct and fairly compact to me.

1 We've been told not to do stuff like this right from the get-go.
2 We've been told to not do stuff like this since the earliest days of our lives.
3 We've been told to not do stuff like this from our childhood onwards.

I'd use "not to do" in all three examples.
