1. You are talking to a man at party. Ask him where he works.

Where do you work?

2. You've forgotten when the course finishes. Ask your friend.

When she finishes?

Book answer is:
When does the course finish?

Where do you work? (OK) :D

When does the course finish? (OK) :D

When she finishes? (Not OK)
==> See yourself talking to your friend. When you ask her a question, you would use "you", like this,

When do you finish?

That sentence is grammatical, but, the exercise in the book is asking you to provide a question for this statment:

You have forgotten when the course finishes.

Notice the words "the course". The statement is about the course, not your friend. So ask a question about the course, like this,

When does the course finish? :D

All the best,

No, you can't say "When the course finishes?"- you must use the auxiliary verb.

1- Your question is correct
2- It shoulkd be 'How much do you earn?' (You can say 'money', but there's no need)

You need "DO" insertion, like this,

Statement: The course finishes tomorrow.
WH-Replacement: The course finishes when?
WH-Movement: When the course finishes?
DO-Insertion: When does the course finish? :D

1. In birmingham, at the BBC studios.
Guy:....................................................................
Where are you recording? (My answer) :?

Looks OK. :D

2. I'm not going to tell you. How much money I earn is my business.
Guy:.............................................................................................
How much muney you earned?(My answer) :)

Again, you need DO insertion, like this,

Statement: I earn this much money.
WH-Replacement: I earn how much money?
WH-Movement: How much money I earn?
DO-Insertion: How much money do I earn? :D
Pronoun change: How much money do you earn? :D

All the best,
