The similar comparison occurs in the number of population of two countries: 3678 thousands for the US and merely 876 thousands for the UK.

To sum up, we would see that while the US has larger number of surface areas and population, the UK has more developed education and stronger national strength.

(false numbers. Just for the exercise of chart writing.)

We don't say number of population, just population. You can say population figures.

We don't say number of surface areas but amount of surface area.
