What are the differences and similarities between Kuwait and Australia ?

Comparing between two different countries is harder. I believe that it is kind of judgement including sounds of risk. However, form my observations I would say there are huge differences between Kuwait and Australia in many aspects. Especially, in Educational field and Healthcare. However, there are some similarities in many ways such as adopting democracy as political system and a multicultural society.

On the one hand, Educational process and healthcare systems are noticeable differences between Kuwait and Australia. First of all , in Kuwait we have free education from per-school to university, and child must be educated until graduate from high school or completing eighteen years old . Moreover, the parents must support child financially. In Australia, however, parents have to pay school fees to educate their children. Also child is able to attend job before graduate from high school or completing eighteen years old. Regarding to healthcare system, Kuwait has free healthcare and the government take the responsibilities to develop it .In contrast, Australia’s healthcare system based on insurance. And every one has to have health insurance whether national insurance or private insurance. Personally, I think Australia's system is more efficient than our system because in Kuwait the healthcare is being faced problem as an increase of patients. This has had effect on health service and created a congestion .

On the another hand, there are similarities between Australia and Kuwait in many views such as a cosmopolitan and political system. Australia and Kuwait are both adapting democratic politics system. There have been elections periodically. They are both have parliaments which makes laws to organize society’s life. Another similar is the variety of cultures and differences in people background. They are both cosmopolitan countries. In fact , in Kuwait more than 70 % of the population are foreigners. Furthermore, People are allowed to practise their customs , ceremonies and beliefs as same as in Australia. Australia and Kuwait have equal system of immigration .This reflects how they are both attracting immigrants.

In conclusion, Kuwait and Australia have different points in some aspects and similar features in other. There are differences in Educational system and healthcare which I believe one of them is a good idea and the another one is worthless. A democracy theory is adapted by Australia and Kuwait which permits people to participate in decision-making and vote periodically. Additionally, they are both cosmopolitan countries

Hello Kiwiii,

Your assay is organized well, especially, introduction, main ideas, conclusion and transitions. However, as a reader, I wonder to know (as possible) the different studies of two countries better than the finance of study. Example: some countries, children (don't) have take an exam for a high school when they finish an elementary school . . . . or students have to take very hard exams for college . . . . .

Good luck,
