There are many variations on the MVC pattern. The following discussion will not labor over the precise academic or historical definitions of each possible twist on MVC.

What do they mean "labor over" and "twist" in the above context ?

Thanks!

To labor over = To work on something. Examples: He labored over the building of the boat. Do not labor over the writing of the essay.
Twist = Possible ways a thing can be done. Examples: There were many twists in the story. Building a car with five wheels would be a new twist on an old idea.
