In my country, if u're absent from school u have to go to the administration and get an "entrance card".
What do you call it in English? is it "entrance card"?

Good morning.

In some parts of the United States, the schools for children often call them "readmittance slips" / "permit to reenter."

The children get them in the "attendance office."
