I have a trouble with this sentence:
"For those new to the Russian language, but well acquainted with instructors making a scene, this shto eto(what is it) could easily mean, "Who did it?",as in "Who opened the goddamn window!"."
I understand almost all in this sentence, but do not know what "as in" mean.Is it "OR" or "as well as" or "abbreviation for" or something brand different?

Thanks for any reply,

J.L.

'as in’ ~ ‘as it would be in’. The best explanation I can come up with would be something like ’its (~ the question precedes ‘as in’) meaning is like in (the clarification following)’.
