What does this sentence mean? I picked this sentence from a topic of Managerial Communication and Information Technology. Especially "to put family before career" what does it mean, please?

An employment interviewer who expects female job applicants to put family before career is likely to see that in female candidates of whether the applicants actually feel that way.

Best regards

"to put family before career" - If you put your family before your career it means that you know your family is more important than your career and live your life accordingly in that manner. It means you treat your family as a higher priority than your career, even though you need your career to support your family. It means your family comes first. It's more important.
