What is the difference between the two sentences?
' It should not be that hard to find '
' It should not be hard to find '
Sometimes I see they use '...that much...'. Do they add 'that' to infer something stronger?
Thanks so much for your help!

In theory, the first means that it might be a little bit hard, but not too hard.

The second says it shouldn't be hard at all.

In practice, there is very little difference in meaning.

Do they add 'that' to [STRIKE]infer[/STRIKE] imply something stronger?
